On Thursday, Oct. 23 the Friends are hosting a Book Swap and Meet the Friends here at the Library from 5:30 to 6:30. Discover who we are and what we do for your library. Bring 1-3 books that you personally recommend, tell us what you love about them, and exchange them for recommendations from another book lover. Easy, fun and a great way to meet new friends. We’ll have pizza and refreshments as you browse! This is our first Book Swap so please help make it a rousing success.

The Friends of Silver Falls Library want to extend a huge THANK YOU to the Silverton area community for our very successful annual Used Book Sale in August. We exceeded our expectations in sales and we appreciate every one of you who stopped in and made a purchase. We especially appreciate all the patrons who donate books throughout the year which contribute greatly to our cause.
The Friends organization supports the library by conducting fund-raising projects to help purchase books, furniture, and equipment; assisting with special library events; and coordinating bequests and other donations.
The Friends group is an official 501c(3) Non-Profit Organization, so your financial contributions may be fully tax deductible. If you are interested in joining, pick up a Friends of the Library brochure at the library and fill out the membership form.
