Much like a book group, you will watch the film on your own and then join us on Zoom for a moderated discussion.  All films will be available on the free film platform, Kanopy.com.  All you need to access the film is your library card! The Film Discussion Group will meet next on Wednesday May 14th.  The movie we'll be watching is Glengary Glen Ross, the 1992 movie directed by James Foley.  
 ​InDrama directed by James Foley and starring Al Pacino, Alec Baldwin and Kevin Spacey. The film follows the exhilarating highs and crushing lows of life in real estate sales for a group of individuals as they try to make their way in the brutal world of finance. Some of them bargain and swindle their way to financial gain for its own sake, while others are driven to do so for more personal reasons. Their motivations are what enable them to do business effectively, but they may also give rise to resentment. The cast also includes Jack Lemmon, Alan Arkin and Jonathan Pryce.
