Responding to Covid-19
Updated July 15, 2020
Beginning March 17th, in the interest of public health, the Silver Falls Library District will temporarily close to the public to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
The closure will remain in effect until further notice. We will continue to consult with the Governor’s Office, Oregon Health Authority, and the Centers for Disease Control for guidance about when and how we can safely reopen. The Library Board’s current plan is to operate in tandem with the Silver Falls School Districts decisions surrounding closure.
While most in-person services and spaces are not available, the Library will continue to serve you through our Virtual Library services, available 24/7 from where you are. These online resources include free e-books, e-audiobooks, movies, research databases and more! For tutorials on how to use some of the library’s online services, please click the green resource guide on the right hand side of the page of the CCRLS catalog page: https://catalog.ccrls.org/
Limited computer sessions are now available by appointment. Please click here for more information and then call the Reference Desk at 503-873-8796 to schedule an appointment.
The library has curbside pickup! The library has curbside pickup! Patrons who have held material waiting for them can pick their items up curbside. When you arrive, park in a designated parking spot and call 503-873-5173 with your library card number to let us know you are here. Click here for curbside pickup schedule and more information.
