Tom Swearingen is an Oregon horseman whose original cowboy poetry is often inspired by his own experiences and observations from the saddle. 2022 and 2019 International Western Music Association Male Poet of the Year, Tom brings his stories to life with rhythm and rhyme and a style that makes him a popular performer. Tom has been a headline and featured performer
at western music and cowboy poetry festivals throughout the West including the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, NV. His live concert albums have been finalists seven times for IWMA Cowboy Poetry CD
of the Year. Tom’s book Reflection was named 2020 IWMA Cowboy Poetry Book of the Year.
