Central Cascades Wilderness

Loan/Use Parameters
The permit:
  • must be checked out at and returned to the Silver Falls Library Reference Desk.
  • must be borrowed by patrons who are 18 years or older.
  • is only available to patrons whose home library is the Silver Falls Library.
  • has a 7-day checkout period.
  • cannot be reserved--check availability by calling 503-873-8796.
  • is valid for overnight and day use for the pass holder and a group of up to 12 people.  If using a trailhead where a recreation pass is required, users still must display a valid recreation pass. Pass holders will have to follow all other wilderness and Forest Service regulations.
  • The pass is valid from June 15 - October 15 of the current year.
  • is available 1 time per year per family.
  • has a $5 per day late fee up to the cost of the pass.
