Reserving Materials
The online library catalog displays the holdings of all 18 Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service (CCRLS) libraries. You can "place a hold request" on most of the items you find in the catalog. If the item is available at another CCRLS library, the CCRLS courier will bring the item to the Silver Falls Library, generally within 2-3 business days.
There is no charge for this service and you will be notified when it arrives. You can place a request:

If you are looking for an item not available in the CCRLS catalog, you may either request that the library purchase the book, or arrange to borrow the book via Interlibrary Loan.

- Through the library's catalog computers
- Online from home using the online library catalog. Please wait to be notified that the item is on the hold shelf for you before coming to pick it up, even for items that look like they are currently available at the Silver Falls Library. Some CCRLS materials are non-requestable:

- Chemeketa Community College DVD/VHS videos
- Salem and West Salem New books
- Salem and West Salem DVD/VHS videos
- Salem magazines
- Monmouth audio-visual materials
- Woodburn DVDs
If you are looking for an item not available in the CCRLS catalog, you may either request that the library purchase the book, or arrange to borrow the book via Interlibrary Loan.
